Our Work
Skill Development & Livelihood Generation
Vocational training and economic empowerment for marginalised communities
About the Programme
Aman's skill development programmes provide vocational training and livelihood support to marginalized youth, women and communities — enabling economic empowerment and self-sufficiency.
Economic marginalisation deepens social vulnerability and perpetuates cycles of poverty and conflict. Aman addresses this through hands-on vocational programmes, women's self-help group networks, and targeted advocacy for informal workers who lack access to social protection.
Featured Initiative
Capacity Building & Advocacy — Scrap Workers Rights
India's scrap and waste workers operate at the margins of the formal economy with no legal protection, no social security, and no organised voice. Aman works to change this through legal literacy, rights awareness, and collective advocacy — building the capacity of workers to claim their rightful protections.
Programme Areas
Skill development and livelihood work across four interconnected domains.
Vocational Training
Practical, market-relevant skills training in trades including tailoring, electronics, construction, and hospitality for youth from marginalised communities.
