Our Work
Education
Supporting quality education in marginalized communities
About the Programme
Aman's education programme supports quality education and awareness in marginalized communities across India. We work to strengthen access to education, particularly for children and youth affected by conflict and social exclusion.
Education is a foundational pillar of Aman's work. When communities are disrupted by violence or extreme poverty, children are among the first to lose access to learning. Aman works alongside local partners to restore and strengthen educational pathways, building long-term resilience and opportunity.
Key Focus Areas
Our education work concentrates on four interconnected areas of need.
Literacy and Adult Education
Promoting reading, writing and numeracy skills among adults and out-of-school youth in underserved communities.
Child Rights and Protection
Raising awareness of child rights, preventing child labour, and safeguarding children in conflict-affected areas.
Dropout Prevention
Identifying at-risk students and providing support mechanisms to keep children enrolled and learning.
Quality Education Advocacy
Advocating for improved educational infrastructure, trained teachers, and inclusive curricula in marginalized communities.
Get Involved
We welcome partnerships with individuals, organisations and institutions committed to expanding access to quality education for all.
